Cooking Time : 20-30 minutes.
Ingredients:
- 12 Tteok or rice cakes
- 9 slices of Babybel cheese
- 3 skewers
- 1 tbsp margarine
- 1 ½ tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp honey
- ½ tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ¼ tbsp fine garlic

- 12 Tteok or rice cakes

Method:
- Boil the tteok or rice cake until soft then remove from heat
- Skewer the tteok or rice cake alternately with pieces of babybel cheese. On each skewer there are 4 rice cakes and 3 slices of babybel cheese.
- Mix the prepared gochujang, tomato sauce, honey, granulated sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil and fine garlic then stir until evenly mixed.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan then lower the temperature to medium low heat
- Put the margarine in the pan until it melts
- Insert 3 skewers of cheese tteokkochi before then spread the mixed seasoning on top of it
- Turn the tteokkochi using a spatula while spreading the remaining seasoning
- Transfer the tteokkochi to a plate when it turns light brown
